An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our client's talented team based at their head office in Lincoln. Our client is a privately owned business based in Lincoln with a reputation for delivering quality Civil Engineering projects within Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas, undertaking a range of interesting and diverse projects.

Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyors, the role involves supporting them in fulfilling their responsibilities and contributing to the overall success of the business through the provision of efficient and effective administrative support.

The Role:

  • Ensure relevant administrative tasks are dealt with efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain relevant filing systems and databases.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers/sub-contractors to ensure a smooth flow of information and work between the department and other internal/external departments.
  • Ensure effective and efficient processing of documents through company systems, working within set time frames.
  • Send out and collate sub-contract enquiries.
  • Assist with data input on monthly figures onto spreadsheets/software.
  • Produce monthly reports of job costs for assisting the financial reporting of jobs.
  • Collate supplier material quotes and delivery ticket information for the relevant jobs.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office programmes and a good standard of written English.
  • Ability to generate professional correspondence unaided.
  • Self-discipline, with demonstrably good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Team player who is supportive of colleagues.
  • Professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers.
