Start Monday are recruiting on behalf of our client, a family run Catering Equipment Company, for an experienced and qualified Refrigeration Engineer to join their well-established and growing service team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term career with genuine progression opportunities.

About the Role: This is a field-based position where you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out reactive service calls and fault finding
  • Performing PPM (planned preventative maintenance)
  • Occasionally assisting with installation work
  • Communicating effectively with customers to deliver a high standard of service
  • Participating in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 5 weeks)
  • Completing accurate job documentation in a timely manner

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Relevant experience as a Refrigeration Engineer within the industry
  • F-Gas certification (essential)
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
