Denmans are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our Leeds Branch, working shifts between 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
As a Branch Assistant, you will work as part of a small and supportive team whilst carrying out customer support, warehouse duties and serving customers on the trade counter, taking phone calls about stock availability, quotes or orders, to picking & packing customer orders ready for collection or delivery.
Ideally, you will have experience within an electrical wholesale/trade environment, although this is not essential as we can provide you with the training and support needed for you to succeed in supporting sales activities whilst ensuring a great service is provided for every single customer.

What we are looking for you to be a Branch Assistant:
- Customer Service: Experience working in a customer facing role, building strong customer relationships and able to demonstrate great service provided for repeat business.
- Sales Support: Supporting the sales team by ensuring product availability and assisting with customer inquiries.
- Communication: The ability to ask questions and provide information effectively across different stakeholders e.g. colleagues, customers & suppliers.
- Stock Management: Experience from a retail/trade or wholesale stock environment, with proven ability to pick & pack orders or to book in and organise goods in to store/branch. Assisting in the management of branch stock, including daily profiling requests and monthly stock adjustments.
Successful candidates must be over 21 years and hold a valid in-date full UK driver’s licence due to insurance purposes.
