RGH-Global are working with a leading global IT Consultancy who help to deliver innovative projects across various sectors. We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join a project with one of their key banking clients.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and add new functions to automation frameworks
- Identify reusable components and define automation approaches
- Prepare test data, set up and configure test environments
- Create and maintain automated test cases using Selenium and Ranorex
- Operate within a scrum team, conducting manual and automated testing
- Develop automation frameworks from scratch
- Train developers on the test automation framework
- Analyze systems requirements to verify program functionality
Requirements:
- A proven background in automation testing with Selenium framework
- Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Test NG, and BDD with Cucumber
- Experience with Ranorex, JMeter, Jenkins integration, and GIT
- Strong Core Java programming skills
- Proficient in writing SQL queries and using JDBC/ODBC for testing
- Proficient in designing and implementing test cases
- Experience with Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and JIRA
- Familiarity with Agile/scrum automation delivery models
- Experience in the Fixed income and equities domains is a plus
Additional Skills:
- Expertise in Cross Browser and Cross Platform compatibility testing
- Familiar with continuous integration systems using Git, Jenkins, and Jira
- Experience with TDD, ATDD, and BDD using Cucumber and Gherkin
