Salary: £27,104 per annum, based on 39 hours per week.

We have a fantastic development opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to support our Service Manager in leading and managing our established Supported Living service that is situated near Sefton Park. This is a great opportunity for a Support Worker who is looking to progress within their career in Social Care.

We are looking for a Senior Support Worker who will have a can-do approach and be committed to supporting people in a positive, creative way that enables people to live a fulfilled life. You will demonstrate best practice and be a role model for the team. You will receive ongoing support to ensure your continued professional development and enthusiasm for the role.

A Level 3 competency-based Health and Social Care qualification e.g. NVQ or Diploma (RQF), is desirable, but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Senior Support Worker. In return, Autism Initiatives will provide you with a full induction and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent to the role.

This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career. Due to the needs of the service, we are seeking a Female* who holds a valid UK Driving Licence and would support this person accessing their local community.

*This vacancy is advertised in line with Sub Paragraph 1, Schedule 9 of The Equality Act 2010 as there is an occupational requirement.
