The London Borough of Harrow is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor Master Technician to join its Fleet Services team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to play a key role in supporting and supervising the effective delivery of fleet maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Support strategic fleet planning and efficient workshop operations.
- Lead service delivery and supervise workshop performance and staff.
- Coordinate resources and contribute to wider council transport initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with the Service Manager and complete documentation promptly.
- Stay current on regulations, undergo training, and hold relevant vehicle licenses.
Role Requirements:
- UK Driver's Licence + access to a vehicle
- HGV Licence
- MOT tester (Classes 4/5/7)
- Compliance knowledge: O Licence & DVSA standards
- Strong decision-making and adaptability
