Salary: £66,100 - £99,100 (NI) or €90,300 - €135,500 (ROI) + car / allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role:
- You will be responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the SME Sales team and will play a key role in positioning SSE Airtricity as a net zero leader in Ireland.
- You will continue our development as a leading supplier of energy to the SME and Enterprise channels, by creating a robust strategy, supported by a suite of Channel Growth Plans that are executed effectively.
- You will create and foster a strong team culture across all areas of the SME department.
- You will develop, update and implement the SME & Enterprise Strategy across a 3-5 year horizon.
- Understand what acquisition volume and customer value we need to attain to achieve our profitability expectations.
- Develop new and innovative products, sales processes and commercial programs for each channel.
- Working with the Head of Sales Compliance, you will lead and manage sales & retention assurance, and ensure a high level of adherence to all compliance, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Create and manage a suite of BI/MI tools and reports, to monitor and deliver budgeted business performance.
You have:
- A strong understanding of SSE's Vision, Strategy, Values, Culture and Marketing Mix, coupled with working knowledge of channel opportunities and challenges.
- Experience in the management of cross-functional teams, ensuring structure and high levels of engagement.
- A strong understanding of challenges in the energy industry and how these affect acquisition and value.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, suitable for understanding key acquisition drivers, preparation of forecasts and targets, and review of performance against targets.
- Competency in project management methodologies, financial metrics and reporting.
