The WCS role is responsible for managing the day-to-day Workers’ Compensation (WC) claims for ongoing and new clients, ensuring no lost time, recovery, and return to work. Claims management includes strong return-to-work/no lost time strategies, appeals, and analysis of data for ongoing and continuous improvement.
The WCS is involved in maintaining and developing practices and procedures for claims and disability management services. The WCS will communicate with key stakeholders to manage return-to-work planning and mitigate lost time. The WCS manages the claim, evaluates historical claim performance, confirms treatment programs with healthcare providers, and liaises with stakeholders to provide solution-focused programs entered into our proprietary system, OrgSys, following best practices for claim and care management.
Establishes and maintains positive client relationships. Delivers quarterly and annual reports with a focus on continuous improvement. You’re exceptionally skilled at fact gathering, reviewing objective medical information, and analyzing cases using proven return-to-wellness strategies. You have at least two years of disability management experience, including short-term and long-term disability adjudication. With strong medical knowledge and a customer service focus, you’ll be an important part of the OSI success story.
