About the Company

We’re partnered with a super exciting start-up consultancy based in Leeds. They’re growing quickly, have a solid client base, and are building a team of talented, pragmatic engineers who want to do great work without the noise. This is a consultancy founded by technologists, no layers of red tape, no unnecessary meetings, and no egos. Just interesting problems to solve, modern tech, and a team-first culture built around delivery, quality, and trust.

The Role

They’re looking to bring in a Software Engineering Consultant with strong Python, AWS, and DevOps skills to help deliver into a new piece of work they’ve won with an exciting long term partner. You’ll be building scalable platforms, working with cloud-native tools, and joining a team that values clean code, fast iterations, and getting things done properly. You won’t be bounced between client sites, they deliver most of their work in an asynchronous format. You’ll just need to be able to join the team in Leeds once every couple of weeks for in-person planning and collaboration.

If you enjoy solving real problems with modern tools, working in a growing team of like-minded engineers, and having a voice in how things are done, then this is a great move.

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python
  • A solid grounding in AWS and cloud-first engineering
  • Good understanding of modern DevOps tooling (Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, etc.)
  • The ability to work independently but collaborate openly

Bonus points for:

  • Previous consultancy experience (nice to have, not essential)
  • Familiarity with agile delivery
  • Clear communication and a down-to-earth approach

Why This Stands Out

  • Fast-growing, high-potential consultancy doing meaningful work
  • Tech-first, delivery-focused culture with no corporate overhead
  • Brilliant team, flat structure, and a real sense of ownership
  • Leeds-based hub, but hybrid flexibility – just twice a month in person

If you’re an experienced engineer who wants to be part of a modern tech consultancy, one that’s focused on building great things with great people, get in touch. We’d love to tell you more.
