Overview: I am looking to speak with a Mechanical Engineer with a solid understanding of Mechanical Design related to HVAC systems and surveying to work client-side on various Defence projects for a forward-thinking and innovative international multi-disciplinary consultancy. You will act as the focal point between internal design teams and contractors, ensuring designs are sufficient and contributing to the commissioning of Mechanical Systems once installed. Due to the nature of the work, obtaining security clearance is required, and on-site presence for 2-3 days a week is expected. Mentoring and training will be provided. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills while working on interesting projects for an established consultancy.
Requirements:
- Experience designing Mechanical Building Services Systems, including technical detailed designs and writing specifications.
- A Mechanical/Building Services Degree or equivalent.
- Experience coordinating between multiple departments and teams internally and externally.
- Experience conducting on-site visits and surveys.
- Experience working on defence sector projects (desirable).
- Knowledge of commissioning Mechanical building services systems (desirable).
- Ability to obtain SC security clearance (desirable).
