What does the role involve?

As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You’ll drive a Mobile Testing Unit to client sites to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Carrying out health surveillance tests such as: Audiometry (hearing tests) / Spirometry (lung function tests) / Skin prick allergy testing / Vision screening / Venepuncture (blood draws) - we’ll give you full training
  • Preparing and maintaining equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely

  • Supporting health promotion initiatives, like wellness events or wellbeing campaigns
  • Helping to improve processes, ensuring we keep our service efficient, effective, and patient-focused
  • Completing clinical paperwork and updating health records accurately

No two days are quite the same. You’ll be working independently much of the time, so being confident, organised and self-motivated is key. Throughout your role, you’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced clinical team every step of the way.

This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on clinical experience, develop your skills, and build a solid foundation for a career in occupational health.
