Role Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is required to identify new business opportunities and enhance existing business relationships. The role will involve selling key TP ICAP data to the financial community.
The Regional Sales Manager will work to grow Parameta Solutionsβ business through the retention and addition of new customers. You will own the lead curation, outbound outreach, client conversations, various sales strategies, and occasional partnerships work. You will work closely with the Sales, product and operation teams to continuously accelerate growth.
Role Responsibilities
Drive revenue generation for Parameta Solutions through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business using a value selling sales methodology
Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline
Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and in-person meetings
Develop strong relationships with key clients that will generate revenue as new features go-to-market
Perform diverse functions effectively: sales strategy, lead generation, sales rep, and account management and revenue retention
Maintain and build on your understanding of technology and infrastructure
Contribute to the businesses global sales and marketing strategy; Implement sales strategy with respect to account coverage
Communication of market developments to co-workers and Sales team
To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Experience / Competences
Demonstrate previous experience selling Market Data is a pre-requisite.
Fluency in both English and French languages are required.
Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and organisational goals.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Solid understanding of value selling and experience following a value-selling sales methodology.
Proven use of insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process.
Ability to problem solve, adapt, and grow quickly as we build the sales organisation.
Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
Understanding of Wholesale/OTC Financial Services.
Previous work essential in the financial markets preferable, but not essential.
Previous experience of working with / a good network with French clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
