Quality Compliance Lead Glasgow - Permanent
Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are proud to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Compliance Lead.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects supporting QMS and food safety culture.
- Maintain and develop QMS processes and documentation.
- Manage internal and external audit programmes, ensuring audit readiness.
- Act as lead contact during customer and certification audits.
- Provide operational teams with compliance guidance and audit preparation support.
- Maintain quality compliance reports and manage non-conformance tracking.
- Ensure HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP plans are current and reviewed regularly.
- Support and deliver quality training across the business.
- Oversee Q-Pulse system development and provide user support.
- Ensure quality monitoring equipment is calibrated and water testing plans are up to date.
- Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support customer compliance data requests.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified or equivalent in a scientific or related discipline.
- Proven experience in a compliance leadership role within manufacturing (ideally food/drink).
- Strong working knowledge of food safety standards and QMS.
- HACCP and Internal Audit trained.
- Experienced in cross-functional project work.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), and ideally SAP.
- Organised, methodical, and able to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Scotch whisky industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
