Are you purpose-driven and passionate about raising ethical standards across global supply chains? I am working exclusively on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ethical Champion to join a respected and values-led business within the UK food industry. This is a key role within the Technical Team, supporting the business's commitment to ethical sourcing and supply chain integrity.
The Role: You'll take the lead on ethical compliance – developing and implementing robust standards, carrying out supplier audits across the UK and overseas, and ensuring alignment with recognised frameworks including ETI Base Code, SEDEX, UK Retailer Codes of Practice, and Stronger Together. This is a hands-on, internationally focused role with regular supplier site visits and close collaboration across procurement and technical functions.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a science-based degree or similar qualification
- Have extensive experience in an ethical or ESG role, with a strong understanding of the food industry
- Be confident undertaking international supplier visits and ethical audits
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for ethical trade with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Lead by example with energy, resilience, and a values-driven approach
