Grafton Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well-established organisation in their search for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA). This is a great opportunity to support the prevention of work-related illness and injury by providing proactive robust clinical advice and recommendations to the company.

THE ROLE:

  • You will provide comprehensive occupational health support to the company, including overseeing the health surveillance programme to ensure that all legal and mandatory compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Complete fitness for work Health Assessments for new starters.
  • Support the Occupational Health Manager and deputise as necessary.
  • Ensure that clinical records are completed in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council's (NMC) guidelines on medical confidentiality.
  • Promote health and wellbeing by delivering presentations and training sessions.
  • Attend regular meetings with HR and operational managers to provide an overview of occupational health activities and updates on employee health issues, including absence cases.
  • Provide management with robust clinical advice and recommendations in relation to the employee's health.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • We are looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Health Advisor with the following qualifications:
  • NMC Level One registration
  • Relevant OH Diploma or Degree
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, influencing and collaborating with various teams.
  • To support the Union in understanding the role and purpose of Occupational Health.
  • SCPHN - Preferable
