The Role
As a Water Efficiency Engineer, you will carry out minor plumbing work and install water-saving devices in homes across Essex. Helping customers to reduce waste and lower their water bills, you’ll attend pre-booked appointments to fit simple water efficiency products like tap aerators, cistern devices, and shower regulators. Alongside the practical work, you’ll engage with customers, explaining the reasons behind high water usage, offering tailored advice, and promoting small behavioural changes that lead to significant savings. With the freedom to manage your own schedule, you’ll help deliver projects efficiently while making a genuine impact in local communities. Additionally, you will:
- Record work using our tablet-based CRM system
- Deliver helpful post-installation guidance
About You
To be considered as a Water Efficiency Engineer, you will need:
- A minimum of a Level 2 Plumbing qualification
- Domestic plumbing expertise
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- A full, valid driving licence
