My client is a successful manufacturer of pharmaceutical testing equipment and leading provider of multi-vendor service contracts for a range of Chromatography, Spectroscopy & Dissolution instruments on behalf of leading manufacturers such as Agilent, Waters & Perkin Elmer. 2025 is set to be an incredible year for my client and this is the perfect opportunity to drive forward both existing and new business for Chromatography equipment service contracts across the UK & Ireland!
Please apply today if you are already selling Chromatography Capital Equipment, or related chemistry equipment OR if you are already selling service contracts for Chromatography equipment for the likes of Shimadzu, Element Lab Solutions, Phenomenex or Thames Restek or similar Company and want to progress your career and advance your earnings potential in a national sales role! Alternatively, if you are a Chromatography Field Service Engineer, HPLC Applications Specialist OR A Lab Manager or Super User of Chromatography Equipment in the Laboratory using/troubleshooting on HPLC, LC-MS equipment in the likes of Socotec, Kindeva, LabCorp etc and you want to move into a commercial role, then you will be fully considered.
The requirements of the Chromatography Service Contract Sales Manager:
- A track record of selling Chromatography instruments and/or consumables or existing experience selling service contracts for Chromatography instruments (HPLC, LC, GC) from manufacturers such as Waters, Agilent, Thermo Fisher, Perkin Elmer, Shimadzu, AB Sciex etc.
- OR you could have been a super user of Chromatography, HPLC, LC-MS capital equipment in a Lab or a Field Service Engineer or HPLC Applications Specialist wanting to move into a sales position.
- This role requires you to have great relationship building skills to renew existing service contracts as well as a βhunterβ sales mentality and as such be able to seek out and convert new revenue opportunities for multi-vendor instrument service contracts.
- As well as being a hunter you will also be able to think outside of the box to always provide the best possible solution to the customers unique needs and secure contract renewals.
- Knowledge of GLP & GMP procedures
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Ideally you will be based in the Midlands from a home locale and willing to travel Nationally to attend client meetings.
The responsibilities of the Chromatography Service Contract Sales Manager:
- Responsibility for all Multi-Vendor (MV) chromatography instrument contract renewals and new business for MV within existing and new clients in the UK
- Close cooperation, coordination, and communication with internal sections (service, administration, product management)
- Responsible for all events, fair attendances, and seminars in the sales region
- Consolidation of existing business relations as well as establishment of new customers and business partners in the sales region
- Cooperation with innovations in marketing, sales, and product development
- Continuous improvement of internal processes for efficient sales transactions in cooperation with other departments
