We are proud to be working with an established and professional client in the Ferndown area who are recruiting for a Service and Repairs Planner to join their team. The Service and Repairs Planner role will involve the effective management of engineer diaries and assisting the Service and Repairs Manager with implementation of strategic goals.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A salary of £30,000 - £31,000 per annum
  • Working Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Parking available

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effective liaison with internal and external customers.
  • Interface with customers to book in upcoming repair, service and ECO works.
  • Planning engineer diaries and programme.
  • Excellent customer service at all times.
  • Assist in product purchasing for any repair works if needed.
  • Creating purchase orders for any plant requirements on site works.
  • Ensure for all works booked that RAMS are issued to customer.
  • Daily calls to engineer teams to discuss today's work and tomorrow's upcoming work.
  • Daily courtesy call to tomorrow’s customers to remind them of upcoming booking.
  • Receiving and processing incoming engineer worksheets daily.
  • Develop knowledge and build a rapport about each customer’s business and requirements.
  • Coordinate, analyse and improve customer service functions to meet company goals.
  • Effective communication with manufacturing partners.
  • Sign off any invoices for plant purchase orders you have issued.
  • Book any flights, ferries and hire cars for engineers working away.
  • Send engineers parts prior to repair works.
  • Update goods ready/goods out tracker.

  • PC skills including Microsoft Office and other IT packages and solutions
