An exciting opportunity has arisen at our client for an HR Advisor to join a small and busy team on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a great role for a capable and forward-thinking HR Advisor looking to increase their skills in a fantastic company.
Our client is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to support the implementation of projects and initiatives and support with onboarding and recruitment at a time where the company is experiencing growth.
Requirements include and are not limited to:
- Provide guidance and advice to line managers and employees on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, absence management, and policy interpretation.
- Support with employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management in line with company policies and employment law.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job advertisements, interview coordination, and conducting reference checks.
- Support new starters with their onboarding process.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to and help update them in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Actively promote employee wellbeing initiatives and ensure employees are aware of available support resources.
- Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR databases, and assist with HR reporting, when required.
- Support with various HR projects, such as implementing HR software or employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have previous HR Advisory, recruitment and onboarding experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships are paramount alongside the ability to get stuck in and support on projects and improvement initiatives to support the wider workforce and your colleagues.
