Job Title: SEN Music Therapist Location: West Drayton Contract Type: Part-Time (Term-time only) Salary: £180 – £190+ per day (D.O.E) Use music as your superpower-helping young people with special education needs (SEN) express themselves, build confidence, and feel emotionally supported. SEN Music Therapist – Job Description Plan & deliver individual and group music therapy sessions using instruments.Facilitate communication, self-expression, and emotional regulation through structured musical activitiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams: SENCOs & Teachers.Select and maintain therapy instruments and adapt musical tools to meet individual sensory or physical needs.Regularly monitor and review student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary. SEN Music Therapist – Requirements A degree or qualifications in relation to Music therapy.A registered music therapist, ideally with the health and care professional council (HCPC).Experience working with children or young adults displaying challenging behaviour.Experience teaching music to children with learning difficulties.
