Job Title: Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Driver Location: Swindon, Sn25 Pay Rate: £12.50ph Contract: Temp to Perm If you are looking for on going FLT role, temp to perm, in Swindon (Sn25) area, this role can be perfect for you. gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 1 C/B or Reach Forklift Drivers for an ongoing temp to perm assignment to one of the growing companies in Swindon, within Groundwell Industrial Estate. As a Counterbalance Forklift driver your time will be split between both the yard and warehouse facilities – as a Reach truck driver your time will be split between high picking in the warehouse and palletising stock. For those that are able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the working hours there are permanent opportunities available, and you are welcome to apply after completing your 12 week probationary period. Main Duties as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Reach Truck driver Loading / Unloading lorries Stock replenishment into both yard and warehouse departments – when needed Transport of products throughout the yard as per supervisor request Working from pick & loading sheets and collecting picked items Palletising stock High picks Stock put away Quality checks Periodically involved in stock count Choice Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm Hourly Pay Rates Basic Rate – £12.50p/h Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, you will be asked to provide your Forklift certificate and experience is essential in this role.
