MPI are looking for a Machine Operator with Horizontal Boring experience. The candidate must have experience with general use of manual machine tools (lathes/mills etc). Aerospace experience preferred but not ideal. Annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 based on experience.
Role Responsibilities will include:
- To operate boring machines to fine precision limits.
- Work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, OHM, CMM, and SOPM.
- Demonstrate knowledge of horizontal boring practices and the ability to measure using imperial units.
- Maintain accurate records, including the Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
