Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?

  • You’ll provide HSSE support and guidance to site teams and management and conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance and processes are being followed.
  • You’ll monitor and report on HSSE performance, trends, and KPIs and support incident investigations and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • You’ll support deliver HSSE inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to employees and subcontractors and ensure all HSSE documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and COSHH assessments, are current and compliant.

What you’ll bring

  • Do you hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent? This is essential.
  • Do you have HSSE experience within the maintenance, FM, or construction industry, along with a good understanding of applicable UK HSSE legislation and industry standards?
  • Do you have proven experience conducting inspections, audits, and investigations?
  • Are you someone who has great communication, interpersonal, and training delivery skills? If so we want to hear from you!

Due to the nature of this role you’ll need to have a Full UK driving license. This role may require working outside of regular hours in the event of accidents/incidents.
