A role has arisen with the F&B division of our client, who designs imaginative hospitality environments for major brands and chains. As an experienced Architectural Technician, you will be working alongside the design team to deliver deadline driven roll-out refurbishment programmes. The role will be a hybrid of home and office based and your responsibilities will include:
- Produce working drawings and make statutory applications for Building Regulations / Planning / Listed Buildings / Advertising / Licensing / Warrants.
- Produce pavement licence drawings and ‘As-Built’ drawings for inclusion within Health & Safety files.
- Research and keep up to date with new architectural products and all relevant Building Regulation requirements.
- Identify your own personal development requirements, knowledge and skills.
- Assist the Senior Technician to update and maintain the Technical Library.
- Assist the Senior Technician with measured drawing of building surveys or carry out alone.
Skills and Experience needed from the Architectural Technician:
- At least 4 years' experience in Architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with VectorWorks an advantage but not critical.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and consistency in drawing work, to produce high quality drawings.
In return the salary on offer will be in the £30k to £35k range with Perkbox membership and pension scheme.
