A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Driver to join our client at their site based in the Bootle area. This is a permanent position working fixed shifts Monday to Friday. The business is currently going through an exciting period of substantial growth and transformation, with major investments being made across the site. They are seeking forward-thinking, motivated individuals who are eager to make a real difference, people who are ready to contribute to positive change, bring fresh ideas, and play a key role in driving the business forward during this pivotal time.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operating a Counterbalance forklift truck within a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
- Loading and unloading incoming deliveries, as well as managing internal stock movements.
- Transporting pallets and materials across the site to support production workflows.
- Ensuring accurate stock rotation and adherence to storage procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work area.
- Assisting with general warehouse and production tasks as required.
- Consistently following all health and safety protocols.
While this role is primarily forklift-based, you will be expected to actively support production activities when not operating the truck, so a hands-on and flexible approach is essential.
What Weβre Looking For:- A valid Counterbalance Forklift License accredited by RTITB or ITSSAR.
- A minimum of 12 months' recent experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) is desirable but not essential.
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.
- High levels of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to adapt and get involved wherever needed.
