We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected client based in Uttlesford/Dunmow, who is looking for experienced Class 2 Waste Drivers for long-term, ongoing work in the local area.
The Role:
As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you’ll be responsible for operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle and assisting with loading duties when required. You’ll work across residential areas in Uttlesford/Dunmow, helping keep the community clean and tidy.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 07:00am - 15:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate Class 2 refuse vehicles (dustcarts)
- Collect household, recycling, and garden waste
- Assist with loading duties as required
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete paperwork
- Dispose of collected waste at designated sites
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (HGV II) Licence
- Driver CPC
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR)
- A good attitude and team spirit
