Are you available for your next interim H&S role? This is an ideal assignment for a Health and Safety specialist who has worked as part of a project team where capital expenditure (CapEx) projects are running on-site alongside a fast-paced, day-to-day operation. Close collaboration with site operations and H&S teams is essential to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

What the role involves:

  • Supporting live CapEx projects and managing all safety issues associated with major works.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with CDM regulations.
  • Working closely with project teams, external contractors, and on-site operational and safety teams.
  • Helping teams stay aligned with best safety practices during project work.
  • Taking a hands-on approach and being actively involved on-site.
  • Consistently promoting a positive, 'safety-first' culture in all communications and site activities.
  • Managing change effectively during project implementations and reacting to unexpected issues swiftly and professionally.

What we're looking for:

  • A strong H&S professional with experience in FMCG environments-ideally from the food industry, FMCG manufacturing, logistics, or construction.
  • A solid understanding of CDM regulations and their application to CapEx builds or upgrades.
  • Experience working on factory builds, installations, or refurbishments while normal site operations continue.
  • Confidence in working with multiple teams and contractors to keep the project on schedule.
  • NEBOSH or an equivalent qualification.
  • Availability to start in July 2025 (early August at the latest).
