About the Role:
Are you detail-oriented, accurate, and confident using Excel? We’re seeking a Laboratory Administrator to join a small, dedicated team within a quality control and assurance function based at a site in Dereham. You’ll play a vital role supporting routine testing activities that help monitor animal health and site hygiene standards, while also handling admin tasks and data entry with care and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PCR and salmonella testing (full training provided).
- Prepare and process samples such as bloods, swabs, faeces, and environmental specimens.
- Support with packing and dispatching samples for internal and external testing.
- Maintain accurate records in line with quality standards (ISO 17025).
- Monitor stock levels of lab materials and reagents.
- Provide occasional reception support and assist with visitor check-ins.
