The ideal candidate will be NVQ Level 2/3 qualified and responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and heating equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires expertise in communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving to deliver an exceptional service to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with heating systems such as boilers, radiators, air conditioning units and underfloor heating.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems meet safety and performance standards.
- Carry out emergency repairs and provide technical guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers on larger installations.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, health and safety requirements and best practice.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of heating systems, boilers, air conditioning and plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
