SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for Drivers Mate's/ Assistants, on a full time basis for our client based in Morley, Leeds.
About the Role:
- You will be out on the road, working alongside a delivery driver as a drivers mate/ assistant to fulfil their high-quality home delivery service.
- You will be hands-on in this physical role, lifting anything from a shelving unit to a bed, alongside your driver. Our vehicles are loaded for you ahead of your shift so you can focus on getting on your way, but sometimes you may need to help out when needed.
- You will have an excellent customer service manner.
To Apply You Must Have:
- People-first attitude: You will have a friendly and personable nature, with a passion for great service and making our customers happy!
- Experience: Previous driver's mate / assistant experience is a must, and it would be super handy if you also had some knowledge of home delivery services.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry mattresses, beds, furniture flat packs, and white goods.
Working hours:
Availability over Monday to Sunday; if you are looking for full time, part time, weekends, or odd days, get in contact and let us know what you want.
Working times:
Start times range from 6am to 6:45am and shifts are on average a 10/11 hour working day.
Pay rate: £12.27 per hour PAYE. In addition, you will also accrue holiday pay.
