- Play a critical role in promoting the culture of quality excellence.
- Guarantee the continual compliance of quality standards for products and processes to ensure reliability, consistency and safety.
- Work in parallel with the Compliance Manager in ensuring all Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental systems are maintained to meet ISO13485, ISO14001 and Agility’s Health and Safety Manual.
- Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies and processes to aid business improvement performance.
- Ensure a proactive culture so that customers receive our products and services to the highest standards of quality possible.
- Support the Compliance Manager to maintain the Quality Management systems for ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 including third party external audits.
- With the support of relevant departments, maintain the Quality Management System and ensure compliance within the whole company.
- Manage the investigation of quality issues arising from IPQC, FQC, OQC, non-conforming product, field complaints and returns.
- Manage Quality Control plans using a risk management-based approach, utilising the MRP system to record and control pass/fail criteria.
- Support production by creating inspection criteria and checking first off production items for ECNs and new product launches.
- Support the Compliance Manager with internal audits within the company, carrying out and recording internal audits.
- Support the launch engineers in the development of suitable work instructions during product launch.
- Carry out and record supplier audits either desk top reviews or site visits.
- Use Corrective Action process for non-conformances with internal and supplier issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Support production in their NCR, customer complaints and corrective action processes.
- Keep informed of developments and updates in standards and regulations applicable to Helping Hand Quality Management System.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement to enhance safety, environmental performance and quality throughout the organisation.
- Engage cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions to address quality challenges.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action process to address quality issues and prevent recurrence, ensuring accurate recording of issues and outcomes.
The ideal candidate must come from the Manufacturing Industry as a Quality Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Hold an Engineering or Science related qualification such as HNC, HND or Beng.
- Member of CQI OR ASQ.
- Experience with ISO 13484, IATF 16949 OR AS 9100.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvements.
- Quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Testing and measuring of equipment.
- IT literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
