Pringles care services are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Care Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young adult with learning disabilities in the Barnet area. This is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off live-in rota role offering stable, rewarding work in a supportive environment.

About the Role:

  • Supporting a young adult with daily living needs
  • Monday–Friday: client attends college, returns home around 4:00 pm
  • Use of ceiling or full-body hoist required
  • Assisting with moving and handling techniques
  • PEG feeding experience is a plus (training provided)
  • Working alongside another care worker during double-up shifts

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care essential
  • Confident using hoists and manual handling equipment
  • Mature, empathetic, and patient – client prefers a young yet mature individual
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to client’s specific needs
