About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean and tidy, reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance team:
- To clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas.
- To clean all surfaces of the day nursery including floors, paintwork, tiles and walls.
- Report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas.
- To remove all bottles and recyclable materials to the relevant position or bin and ensuring anything recyclable is recycled.
- Ensure that shortages do not prevent cleaning.
- Ensure all high and low level dusting is completed.
- To be committed to the safeguarding of all children.
This role is for 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day - 5pm-8pm.
