The Role

We’re seeking a Junior Food Product Developer to join our Food & Snacking team. This role offers the chance to work on exciting new product developments from initial idea to store launch. You’ll help deliver trend-led, consumer-focused food products in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for someone with a food-related degree (Food Science, Nutrition, or similar) and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Please note this is a product development role—not a chef or kitchen-based position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with new product development and product upgrades
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Manage samples, product testing, and supplier communications
  • Work with design, marketing, and sales teams to develop product briefs and presentations
  • Monitor timelines and ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Support product launches and customer meetings

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related discipline
  • 1-2 years’ experience in food product development or similar role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
