Our client based in Kirkby in Ashfield is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their friendly team. This is a hybrid role combining both warehouse and office duties, offering a great opportunity. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and be able to manage administration processes effectively and accurately.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing returns for the client's telecoms customers, logging details accurately on a warehouse computer system.
  • Arranging the return of products using the clients stock management system.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of all logistics activities and update internal stock reports regularly.
  • Help offload vehicles, and process unused or decommissioned equipment from site. Heavy lifting involved.
  • Offer administrative assistance within the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's customers via email and phone, addressing inquiries and providing support.
  • Ensure the accuracy of engineer return forms by checking forms against actual stock received and reporting any discrepancies back to the customer.
  • General Warehouse duties when required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics or warehouse administration.
  • Familiarity with stock management or inventory processes is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both customers and the team.
  • Forklift experience is preferred; however, training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Ability to prioritise workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in administrative tasks.
