My client is a privately-owned Building Services consultancy looking to appoint a permanent BIM Coordinator to be based out of their North East Office. This company offers a unique opportunity for project exposure and experience, for some projects they will take from concept to completion - through to Stage 5 fully coordinated design. This exposure will increase your professional development and offer a good challenge in your career. Experience at Stage 5 would be a huge plus, however, not essential.

You will produce 2D layouts/ schematics using AutoCAD as well as 3D BIM models, generating 2D/ 3D/ layouts/ sections/ schematics, to include information modelling using Revit MEP; as well as clash detection using Navisworks.

Necessary experience:

  • Proficiency with software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks - examples of work will be requested at interview
  • An understanding of the requirement for building services co-ordination
  • Working up to Stage 4 and eager to gain Stage 5 experience
  • Previous experience working in a Building Services consultancy or MEP contractor environment
  • Familiar with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
