We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical installation projects across a variety of retail and commercial environments, including high-street stores, supermarkets, and commercial outlets. Based in Sheffield, this role is ideal for someone with strong M&E experience, particularly in fast-paced fit-out or refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of electrical works on multiple retail projects, from pre-construction through to handover
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
  • Interpret and review electrical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations and health & safety standards
  • Manage project budgets, procurement schedules, and site logistics
  • Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role managing electrical fit-out projects, ideally in the retail sector
  • Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems (LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, etc.)
  • Experience with fast-track M&E delivery
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree level)
  • 18th Edition, SMSTS/SSSTS, ECS/CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across the UK as needed
