We are looking for a Director to lead our Shared Services team in London.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for RTB and CTB of the static data administration and sanction filtering for EMEA (MHBK and MHI).
- Obtain and manage the Company's reference data including Client (including SSIs), Instrument, Employee and Department data, plus other related general tables and calendars.
- Liaise with front office, middle office and Compliance to ensure relevant approvals have been granted.
- Ensure the effective running of BAU to ensure all day-to-day activities are completed, identifying operational issues, and taking steps to mitigate risk by enhancing operating processes & systems.
- Overall responsibility for the supervision of the team, including hiring, objective setting, appraisals, development, and retention.
- Engage in relevant governance forums/service meetings to report performance of the team and escalate issues.
- Ensure adherence to key performance indicators and Quality Assurance for the function.
- Promote an inclusive culture, breaking down silos and building a collaborative culture within the function.
- Partner with the business, risk functions, and other members of the operations leadership team to evolve the Shared Service operating model, evaluate the current state, and confirm the go-forward strategy.
- As a member of the Operations Leadership Team, drive consistency in operating standards across Operations.
- Take an active lead in the Operations change strategy and demonstrate commitment to change through delivery.
- Work closely with technology, establish required system enhancements, drive prioritization, and plan/manage change for the function.
