Design, develop, and manage/maintain robust end-to-end data pipelines and dataflows within MS Fabric, integrated with other related business systems, to support project controls and reporting use cases. Implement integration of external data sources, including: Primavera P6 EPPM via REST and SOAP APIs, EMiR (WGM cost repository) through structured ETL/ELT processes and ODBC direct connection. Design and manage integrations with Microsoft Dataverse, PowerApps, SharePoint, and other systems as required. Establish and optimise Lakehouse and Data Warehouse structures to support reporting data requirements. Collaborate with business users to ensure data models and DAX measures support actionable insights. Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through robust engineering standards and automated testing. Support development of dashboards in Power BI to meet business requirements. Performance optimisation of Power BI datasets, semantic models, and visualisations. Ensure all data handling, storage, and transmission complies with relevant security and privacy standards (e.g. ISO 27001, UK GDPR, and company policies). Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and data masking to restrict access to sensitive project, financial, and personnel data.

To be considered for this position you will have proven experience as a Data Engineer or equivalent role with demonstrable end-to-end platform. Previous hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and Power BI is essential for the role. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating data from enterprise platforms via REST and SOAP APIs and have a strong understanding of relational data modelling, warehousing, and data pipelines.
