We are looking for an Electronics Test & Calibration Technician to join an expanding, industry leading company that values precision and technical expertise. This role will involve testing electronic components, ensuring accuracy and reliability in performance. Candidates will ideally be qualified in an electronic discipline but those with experience in testing components will be considered as full training will be provided. Experience in testing electronic components is a MUST - experience with Acoustics would be advantageous.
Hours: 8AM - 5.15PM Monday to Thursday / 8AM - 1PM Fridays.
Due to the nature of the work produced, candidates must be a UK National and be able to obtain SC Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct electronic component testing using Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and other measurement tools.
- Perform calibration tasks to maintain equipment accuracy and functionality.
- Check the accuracy and validity of the calibration reporting.
- Report any problems, errors, concerns or other defects with the calibration tasks to the Technical Manager.
- Perform measurements according to device specific test procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to optimize testing procedures.
- Background in electronics testing and calibration.
- Proficiency in using Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and other testing instruments.
- Strong understanding of Voltage, Resistance, and Current principles.
- Solid math skills to support accurate measurements and data analysis.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
