The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be part of the L3 Service Support Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Analysis, fixing, triaging, and coordinating live defects, working closely with the development team.
- Ensuring and maintaining overall operational stability through pre-emptive health checks and daily checks.
- Performing root cause analysis of various issues and resolving them.
- Using systematic methods to triage, research, diagnose, and provide workarounds or solutions to technical and functional issues.
- Taking ownership of all queries/issues, coordinating with relevant departments for resolution, and following through until resolved.
- Adhering to response time and resolution time SLAs.
- Collaborating with a distributed team of developers, analysts, and business owners across all levels.
- Quickly grasping new concepts, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Java 8 or above, writing Junits, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, relational databases like PostgreSQL, Git, Jenkins, understanding of microservices architecture, AWS services (ECS, EKS, S3, SQS), REST APIs, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
Nice to have skills include: Docker, AWS API Gateway, Serverless technologies, BPM framework, Mustache templates, experience in large-scale integration projects, ELK stack, OpenStack platform.
Qualifications and qualities:
- A self-starter comfortable working in both process-driven and ambiguous environments.
- Experience and passion for working within Central Government and other sectors.
- Proven ability to work successfully with senior client stakeholders and end-users, building relationships and credibility.
- A passion for digital and technology, with a drive to learn and develop.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
