We’re on the lookout for a versatile creative with a sharp eye and a practical mind—someone who can craft brilliant visuals and accurately cost them up. The role also bridges the gap between client requirements and the Commercial Team with the Production Team.
Job description
- Graphic Design
- Visual Designs - creating designs for various client requirements based on client requirements and/or brief.
- Design software proficiency - Use design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), plus Corel Draw to bring designs to life.
- Collaboration - work closely with commercial and production teams to ensure designs align with client guidelines.
- Client Communication - support client meetings to understand requirements, present design ideas and concepts.
- Staying Current - Keeping up-to-date with design trends and software advancements.
- Cost calculation - Accurately calculating job/project costs, including production time, materials, labour expenses and overhead costs.
- Data Analysis - Analysing drawings, specifications and supplier quotes to determine material costs.
- Technical Knowledge - Understanding of materials, production processes and construction/assembly/fitting methods.
- Communication - Collaborating with Production and Commercial teams to ensure jobs/projects are executed efficiently, on time and to costs/budget.
- Software Proficiency - Using estimating software and tools to calculate costs.
Key skills required:
- Solid experience in graphic design and producing artwork for print.
- Comfortable working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator + Photoshop) and ideally CorelDRAW.
- Some estimating or costing experience, or willingness to learn.
- Understanding of production techniques and signage/print materials.
- A strong communicator who can juggle projects and still hit deadlines.
- Bonus points if you’ve used Clarity Software or have experience with AI tools in design.
