The ICOA (Integrated Clinical & Operational Analytics) Analytics service contributes to the development of the strategy for Reporting & Metrics building in line with the overall BI services and strategy and optimizing the platform’s usage across GD and Cross Sector. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the reporting and metrics platforms, ensuring that the platform is meeting the requirements of customers across GD in compliance with applicable regulations.

What you will be doing:

  • Participate in executing strategy around reporting and metrics aligned with ICOA & EBIS strategy and business needs, optimizing the related systems infrastructure and by working with other EBIS teams, as well as GD IT, external partners, and vendors.
  • Participate in the optimization of user management, content management, performance management and lifecycle management related to reporting and metrics in alignment with the direction set by the EBIS Shared Services team.
  • Contribute to the platform development facilitating Medical Monitoring Data Quality Management, Risk Based Monitoring, Integrated Reporting and Metrics to Maximize value for GD.
  • Work with ICOA business owners to develop and deliver reports and metrics such as, but not limited to: Medical monitoring visualizations, Measure Key Performance and Risk Indicators for clinical development organization to provide Metrics, trends, and insight, Ad hoc reporting from internal data warehouses, Providing External reports as assigned.

You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within Data warehouse platforms in a regulated industry, with at least 1 year directly working with matrixed teams.
  • Previous experience of working with reporting/dashboarding software (such as Spotfire, Tableau) in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with Database and ETL, ODW and reporting platforms, integrated data management.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Tibco Spotfire or similar BI software tool such as Tableau, QlikView, Microsoft Power BI, etc.
  • Technical knowledge of SharePoint set up.
  • Knowledge of Iron Python, R, R Shiny SAS or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience in pharma & life sciences industry is preferred.
