Your Team
The team is committed to enhancing the Global Distribution function by focusing on Global Broker Management, Distribution Governance, Insight, and Analysis. Our primary aim is to improve the business's ability to monitor and interpret the performance of distribution teams and broker partners, supporting Allianz Commercial objectives.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Global Head of Distribution, you will leverage your external broker relationship management experience and broker-facing market management expertise. You will interpret data to provide valuable insights and analysis, understand the global insurance sector and distribution practices, and effectively manage communication across diverse stakeholder groups and wide-ranging internal and external audiences.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Actively manage relationships with Global Broker partners, supporting Global Broker Account Directors by owning specific elements and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Drive the growth of all broker segments by developing new and existing relationships, enhancing broker engagement and market presence.
- Foster strong relationships with regional teams to improve internal and external connectivity; travel may be required to solidify these partnerships and facilitate communication.
- Deliver insightful distribution analysis by focusing on broker behavior and agent performance, leveraging a deep understanding of the distribution framework and extensive data interpretation.
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback on broker performance, pipeline status, and market trends, ensuring the timely production of detailed reports for executive meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Provide essential support for both internal and external projects, taking a leading role when necessary and ensuring adherence to Global Distribution Governance, the Company's Code of Conduct, and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, with a strong understanding of SFDC capabilities.
- Knowledgeable about customer and broker propositions offered by the Allianz Group and the Distribution Framework.
- Familiar with the commercial insurance market and global insurance sector distribution practices.
- High awareness of business regulatory requirements and effective communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience in external broker relationship management and broker-facing market management.
- ACII qualified or progressing towards qualification, with education at A-level/degree level or equivalent experience.
