About The Role
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Strategy to lead strategic planning and execution at the group/global level. In this critical role, you will work closely with executive leadership across business units and geographies to shape the long-term direction of the organization, identify new growth opportunities, and drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact role that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and change leadership. The ideal candidate will be experienced in global corporate strategy, highly collaborative, and capable of influencing across complex matrix structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Development: Lead the development and refinement of the group's long-term strategy, aligning it with market dynamics, customer trends, and internal capabilities.
- Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Group Executive Committee, providing strategic insight, decision support, and recommendations for value creation and performance optimization.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor global market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform strategic priorities and investment decisions.
- Strategic Initiatives Management: Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, including market expansion, portfolio optimization, M&A support, and digital transformation programs.
- Global Alignment & Integration: Ensure strategic alignment and integration across business units, regions, and enabling functions, driving consistency in execution and accountability for outcomes.
- Financial & Operational Analysis: Partner with Finance and Data teams to analyze business performance, evaluate opportunities, and model strategic scenarios.
- Change Leadership: Act as a catalyst for change by fostering a strategic mindset across the organization and supporting the embedding of strategic initiatives into business plans.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in strategy development, corporate strategy, or management consulting at a senior level.
- Proven experience working in a global or group-level capacity across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to evaluate business performance and drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead through influence and work collaboratively with senior leaders across geographies.
- Advanced degree in Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
