THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Land/Engineering Surveyor to join our successful and well-established client. They are a Consultancy who deliver projects throughout the UK and provide innovative solutions across multiple disciplines and sectors.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Significant previous experience working in land and engineering surveying
- A Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Strong project management and team leadership experience
- Expertise in land, topographic, construction and geodetic surveys
- Knowledge of local surveying laws, land registration schemes and H&S standards
- Experience using 3D scanning, Total Station/Robotics and Leica/Topcon GPS or Smart Rover
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage surveying projects from inception to completion
- Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments, specifications and drawings
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation and standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively
- Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and support staff
