We are seeking a Pricing and Legal Project Management Analyst to join our team. As a member of the Firm’s Revenue/Legal Project Management Group, the analyst will work closely with attorneys to develop and track budgets, assist with RFP responses, and prepare reports. The role involves establishing best practices and collaborating across departments in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor budgets and performance metrics, especially for Alternative Fee Arrangements.
- Create matter plans aligned with client and attorney objectives.
- Participate in legal operations tasks, such as creating process documents.
- Standardize processes for practice groups, clients, and matters.
- Coordinate data collection for quarterly client reviews and presentations.
- Assist attorneys with financial requests and provide recommendations.
- Work with attorneys to create rate cards for RFPs.
- Collaborate with IT on automated reporting tools.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in pricing, legal project management, or financial analysis.
- Experience in professional services preferred.
- Ability to obtain legal pricing or project management certification within two years.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Knowledge of profitability software like Redwood and Power BI is a plus.
