• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated artificial intelligence systems with a particular focus on multi-agent architectures and advanced techniques such as prompt optimisation and reinforcement learning from human feedback.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative AI solutions into the core platform while ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders across product and business functions.
• Drive progress by experimenting with novel approaches in agentic AI and generative models, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of existing AI systems by optimising for key performance metrics including response accuracy and user engagement.
• Mentor junior engineers within the team by sharing your expertise and fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
• Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and collaborative problem-solving sessions to ensure best practices are followed throughout development cycles.
• Support ethical AI development by considering bias mitigation strategies and explainability in system design where appropriate.

• Proven experience architecting sophisticated artificial intelligence solutions that address real-world problems.

• Extensive hands-on proficiency with leading AI frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face libraries alongside advanced Python programming skills.
• Applied expertise in natural language processing (NLP), generative AI models, or reinforcement learning methodologies is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication abilities enabling you to explain intricate technical concepts effectively to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Advanced academic qualifications such as a Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or closely related disciplines; equivalent practical experience also considered valuable.
• A passion for driving innovation through experimentation combined with a proactive approach towards solving complex challenges within artificial intelligence development environments.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom for at least 12 months along with availability for hybrid work arrangements based out of London.
• Experience working on conversational AI platforms, dialogue systems or customising agents through branding or personality integration would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI such as bias mitigation strategies or explainable AI principles is beneficial but not essential.
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant academic publications are viewed favourably as evidence of thought leadership within the field.

Salary: £70,000 - £120,000 per annum + Equity to match salary
