Do you have a few hours spare a week and are looking for some time to fill? Would you like to help create memorable moments and experiences for others? We are looking for 3 Visitor Centre Assistants with energy and enthusiasm to join our team. This varied role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent customer experiences at weddings, parties, concerts, and more, in a unique venue in Faversham.

If you are friendly, adaptable, and confident, this may be just the job for you. This is a part-time role with flexible hours to support events, tours, and functions throughout the week. Hours vary weekly and often include evenings and weekends, so availability at these times and flexibility are essential. Please note: Evening shifts at the Visitor Centre, Faversham, sometimes end at midnight or occasionally later.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Visitor Centre and Old Brewery Store bars according to customer requirements
  • Use tills accurately
  • Serve in the Visitor Centre and Old Brewery Store bars, dispensing drinks following best practices
  • Close down the Visitor Centre and bars as per checklists
  • Assist with functions and serve guests at the Brewery
  • Prepare function rooms for bookings, including setting furniture and equipment
  • Clear and store display and catering equipment after use
  • Assist at outside events occasionally
  • Maintain cleanliness in public and work areas, disposing of rubbish properly
  • Follow health and safety regulations, considering the well-being of all
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Visitor Centre Manager or team
