Interface Engineer - Jackets Package

Interface Engineer (Jackets Package) required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom Responsibilities Working in the WTG Jacket foundation design team, reporting the engineering manager, to provide interface engineering support for the detailed design phase of the WTG jacket foundations. Working closely with Technical Interface Team, to ensure interface requirements for the WTG jacket design are adequately identified and communicated to relevant parties. Working closely with foundation design contractor, and JV Secondary Steel Engineer to ensure delivery of secondary steel detailed design in accordance with programme and contract. Close interaction with OSP Jackets team, to ensure alignment between designs. Responsibility for updating and maintaining Employer Requirements and Basis of Design. Ensuring alignment between Jacket and GBS foundation designs. Reviewing Contractor design deliverables (drawings, design reports, design briefs etc) to ensure interfaces are being correctly considered by the design contractor. Support with decision making process, to ensure design decisions are correctly logged. Writing decision papers to support decision making process. Support certification process.Requirements Minimum 5 years\’ experience working in offshore foundation design. MEng in appropriate Engineering field (e.g. Mechanical / Civil / Structural engineering
